The Watch of the Future

What seems to be an amazing idea, the new Samsung Galaxy Gear appears to be the next hot item for the tech needy. My only question is, "Who decided we need this?" While this may be an amazing innovation, this only furthers our connection in the online universe. While the watch does not function as a phone, it does connect through wi-fi with the your Samsung device. This allows users to use their phone while having it safely in their pocket. Wearing one will surely be the status symbol of this year. I'm interested to see who the first celebrities are to purchase this product. That will surely determine the popular following for this (beside Samsung customers).
