I noticed a political cartoon in the USA Today on October 17th, which depicts our situation perfectly. A small child wearing a congress shirt holds two plates of food which he cooked. They state, "shut down talks" and debt limit talks."
He exclaims "TA-DA" to his mother leaving the kitchen a disaster, just as in the situation in our country. This is an example of public opinion. Public opinion drives the engine of the masses. Where there are two different political parties with two very different views, many can relate to the situation we are in, no matter who you are.
